Receipt confirmation is normally emailed within two business days after physical receipt.

Restricted and refused shipments
Hazardous, prohibited, recalled, illegal, counterfeit, contaminated, or perishable goods, and shipments that are not genuine ecommerce returns, may be refused, isolated, or lawfully disposed of. Sending goods to transfer disposal or regulatory liabilities is prohibited.

When do I receive the German return address?
The German return address and shipping instructions are provided only after your application has been accepted and onboarding has been completed. Do not send goods before then.
When does ownership of the returned goods transfer?
Legal title to each handling unit transfers irrevocably to Auctum GmbH upon physical receipt at the assigned location. The transfer is permanent and cannot be revoked.
What can Returned do with surrendered goods?
Auctum GmbH may keep, inspect, resell, donate, recycle, destroy, or otherwise dispose of the goods at its sole discretion.
Will I receive a payout or sales proceeds?
No. Free Forfeit includes no payout, purchase price, commission, revenue share, credit, or accounting of any kind.
What proof do I receive when a parcel arrives?
For each physically separate handling unit received, Returned sends a receipt confirmation by email containing the receipt timestamp and one exterior photograph of the received unit. Receipt confirmation is normally emailed within two business days after physical receipt.
What counts as one return or handling unit?
One return means one physically separate inbound parcel, carton, pallet, or other separately handled unit. Multiple physical units are counted separately even if they share an order, carrier, removal order, or master-shipment reference.
Can I ask for goods to be stored or sent back later?
No. Free Forfeit includes no storage service, consolidation, return shipment, or retrieval after receipt. The only output is the parcel-level receipt confirmation.
Which goods are prohibited or restricted?
Hazardous, prohibited, recalled, illegal, counterfeit, contaminated, or perishable goods, and shipments that are not genuine ecommerce returns (including unrelated waste), may be refused or disposed of. The Restricted Goods Policy applies in full.
Can Returned refuse a shipment or end the arrangement?
Yes. Auctum GmbH may refuse individual shipments and may suspend or terminate the Free Forfeit arrangement prospectively at any time. Termination does not reverse ownership of goods already received.
Can I use paid processing for some returns and Free Forfeit for others?
Only if operations explicitly enables both. Each handling unit must be assigned one mode before shipment. Mixed modes require prior operational assignment and clear routing instructions.
Does receipt confirmation guarantee that a marketplace will accept my dispute?
No. Receipt confirmation is evidence of physical receipt only. It does not certify contents, condition, or authenticity, and Auctum GmbH does not warrant that any marketplace, carrier, payment provider, or other third party will accept it or decide a dispute in your favour.
Who pays for shipping to the German address?
You do. Inbound carriage, customs, duties, taxes, and other third-party costs remain the responsibility of the merchant. Free Forfeit covers only the service charges of Returned.
