Restricted & Prohibited Goods Policy

Principle

Goods requiring special transport, storage, or disposal may require prior written approval, may incur additional charges, or may be rejected. If a restricted item arrives without prior approval, we contact you before any chargeable special-handling step — only immediate safety measures required by law are reserved.

Not accepted

• Illegal goods and counterfeit goods
• Weapons and weapon parts
• Biohazards and contaminated goods

Prior written approval required

• Dangerous goods and hazardous materials (ADR-classified)
• Damaged or swollen lithium batteries, and battery quantities requiring special treatment
• Leaking liquids and pressurised containers
• Chemicals and cleaning agents
• Medicines and pharmaceuticals
• Food and perishable goods
• Goods requiring temperature-controlled storage
• Items requiring special regulated disposal or recycling

Disposal of restricted goods

The published standard disposal rate of €0.49 per item covers goods that can be handled through ordinary commercial waste under applicable rules. It does not cover hazardous waste, batteries requiring special treatment, chemicals, regulated products, or special recycling. In those cases the actual disposal cost is communicated to you for approval in advance where applicable — there are no unannounced special-handling charges.

Your responsibility

As the account holder you are responsible for ensuring that goods routed to your Returned address do not include prohibited items, and for informing us in advance about goods that may need special handling. See also the B2B Service Terms.
